A little more insight…
I’m not quite sure what to say about When A Man Loves A Woman. It’s one of those shorts that just is. That’s the thing with comedy; it can be very hit and miss. One line may work and another may not. You may make one person laugh whilst another doesn’t quite get it.
That being said, there are some memorable lines;
“She reads the Daily Mail!”, “Fascist bitch!”
What I did like however is that it’s the lesbian friend who is promiscuous, with her hook-ups and filming of her sex acts.
And I for one did not see the twist at the end. Looking back it all makes sense and usually I spot these things, but this time I didn’t.
The thought of having seen that video after the twist. Ugh!
Things that bugged me:
- Hit ‘n’ miss jokes
