Directed by: Charlie Francis
Written By: Katie White
Starring: Joe Cassidy, Tommy J Brennan & John Cooke

Middle Man is mildly entertaining. The premise is full of potential. Unfortunately I have seen a similar short which made me laugh more. That being said, I did like how there was a visual focus on screen to show who was talking despite being split-screen; I suppose that would aid any deaf viewer from understanding who was speaking, nicely tying in to the story. The ending was a little surprise, though maybe I’m just upset for the deaf guy, but the deliverance of the line lacked emotion.

Things I Liked:
1 - Visual focus during split-screen

Things I Didn't Like:
1 - Lacked emotion
2 - Lacked comedy
