Deflated (BOF12)

Comedy/Drama | 6mins | English (USA) | 2012

“A boy’s gender crisis in the aisles of a discount super-store.”

Written & Directed by: Dustin Shroff

Deflated is in your face social commentary, and the simplicity and conciseness means it works. It works so well that I was almost furious at the end – such a d*ckhead! To a kid it doesn’t matter whether the ball is pink or green. What matters is whether it bounces or not. Extrapolate that into gender norms and you can see where this is going. It works immensely well.
