Burger (BOF11)

Drama | 11mins | English (Uk) | 2013

“Set on location in Cardiff, Burger explores the variety of customers that a late night burger bar attracts, both gay and straight.”

Written & Directed by: Magnus Mork
Starring: Zaman Ahmadi, Akram Akbari, Matthew Ashford, Emily Barber, Charlotte Bramble, Matthew David, Barry Francis, Cherie Harewood, Sarah Howells (voice), Kiel Lillie, Neal McWilliams, David Ian Sterl, Kieran Thomas, Sam Thorne and Gareth Wilson

What Burger does well is create a documentary-esque feeling; the dialogue, action and characters are realistic. There’s not much else to say. It’s not bad. It actually does what it does really well. Just don’t watch it expecting much in the way of character development – it’s about the interaction between characters. Also the ending felt slightly off.

Things I Liked:
1 - Realness

Things I Didn't Like:
1 - Ending
