Blinders (BOF10)

“One night a young couple visit a bar, one where they meet a young creature of a boy. This boy possesses an otherworldly physical beauty that could attract anyone; man or woman. And indeed, the young lovers are attracted, one more so than the other.”

Written & Directed by: Jacob Brown
Starring: Nathaniel Brown, Byrdie Bell & Luke Worrall

Blinders is beautiful, with it’s use of light and the prominence of the score. At it’s core it’s a tale about either being focused on what’s in front of you or being distracted by what’s going on around you; whether that is staying faithful or giving in to temptation. I wasn’t all too impressed until mid-way, when everything started to fall into place and make sense. It says a lot in a short amount of time.

Things I Liked:
1 - Score
2 - Visuals

Things I Didn't Like:
1 - Beginning
