“Last night, Brokeback Mountain aired on TV. Vincent watched it and found himself emotionally compelled by the story. Whilst chatting with a classmate in the school toilets, he takes advantage of the break to describe the film as only an adolescent can.”

Starring: Leila Choukri, Damien Gomes, Garance Marillier, Finnegan Oldfield & Malivaï Yakou
It’s Not A Cowboy Movie (Ce n’est pas un film de cow-boys) is utterly refreshing. Two pairs of kids talking about Brokeback Mountain and not once does it become homophobic. The guys are fully intrigued and never once doubt their sexuality whilst the girls explore deeper issues in relation to coming out late and gay men having children. It’s light, it’s funny and it’s reassuring that times are changing.
