“After three centuries, three with sisters are resurrected and it’s up to two teenagers, a young girl and an immortal cat to put an end to their reign of terror once and for all.”

… in 1 word:
Magical.

… in 10 words:
A fun family film full of magic, mayhem and… Madonna.

… in 100 words:
Okay… so it’s not actually Madonna, but the film makes me feel all whimsical and I may have got carried away with the alliteration. How was it not a hit when it was released!? How have some people still not seen it!? It’s a cult classic, right? Hocus Pocus is a great example of a holiday film done right (though besides Halloween and Christmas, what other holidays feature in films? Ahh; New Year and Valentine’s day!). Everything from the pacing to the characters comes together to craft a true family film. Now kneel down at the altar to Bette Midler!

Now go and watch it…
