“Aaaah… it’s New York City in 1962, and love is blooming between a journalist and a feminist advice author, who’s falling head over heels despite her beau’s playboy lifestyle.”

… in 1 word:
Light.

… in 10 words:
A rom-com which focuses more on comedy than unnecessary drama.

… in 100 words:
Down With Love. Have you heard of it? I hadn’t before now which is surprising due to the (then) calibre of its leads. Maybe it’s too bad that everyone wanted to forget about it I hear you say; but it’s not. To me there was a freshness and lightness to its approach. It was more com-rom than rom-com and to me, I appreciated it for that. It didn’t rely on melodrama or an overly emotional plot. It may not be up there with Pretty Woman but it still makes for easy viewing. Just try to ignore the overly long monologue.

Now go and watch it…
